QUESTIONS.

The Hon. Mr. J. P. Braga, pursuant to notice, will ask the following questions :-

1. Will the Honourable Colonial Secretary state what representations, if.

any, have been received by the Government from the Hong Kong Automobile Association, or any other organisation in the Colony, in connection with the new parking arrangements for motor-cycles near the "Star" Ferry Wharf at Kowloon Point?

2. Has attention been given by the Traffic Department to the repeated com- plaints appearing in letters to the newspapers against the unsatisfactory nature of the arrangements?

3. What steps is the Government taking-

(a) to improve the recent innovation that is causing so much incon-

venience to motor-cylists at Kowloon;

(b) and when will any needed improvement be effected?

The Hon. Mr. J. P. Braga, pursuant to notice, will ask the following questions :-

1. Regarding a petition to Government from residents of the Homuntin district for a water-carriage system and the reply, dated 3rd August, with reference thereto, from the Honourable the Director of Public Works that, in view of the very heavy expense involved, he was not
